How much a Side by Side refrigerator consumes depends on various factors. An important factor for the consumption of your Side by Side refrigerator is how often you open the door(s). The more often you open the door, the more often the cabinet has to adjust to the temperature.
What also plays a role in consumption is how fully you load the cabinet. Completely fully loaded is not a good idea, because a side by side refrigerator is most energy efficient at about 80% load. Especially where the cold air flows out, you should not pack the cabinet full. Otherwise you will block the optimal air flow through the cabinet.
Maybe new to you, but a brand new refrigerator will cool faster if you load it (up to 80%) than if you will leave it cold first.
